Supporting Sustainability Together with KPT Recycle, MAEKO, and Nestlé Malaysia

At ZOAT Kuala Lumpur, we’re thrilled to have amazing partners committed to sustainability and environmental protection. This year, we’re working closely with KPT Recycle, MAEKO, and Nestlé Malaysia to support our trash collection and separation efforts during the tournament. We encourage everyone to play a part in creating a cleaner, greener event!

KPT Recycle: Waste Management for a Better Future

Founded in 2008, KPT Recycle has been dedicated to providing top-notch waste and environmental management services for industrial institutions. Their vision is ambitious: to be leaders in environmental protection, resource conservation, and sustainability. As a “One-Stop Center” for industrial waste collection and management, KPT Recycle serves the F&B and FMCG industries, striving towards ZERO waste.

Look out for the large green recycling bins on the ZOAT hockey field where you can dispose of recyclables like plastics, cardboard, paper, beverage cartons, and metal. KPT Recycle will ensure that these materials are properly processed and recycled, contributing to a waste-free future. Check out the image below to see what items belong in these green bins.

MAEKO: Turning Food Waste into Compost

MAEKO is tackling one of our planet’s biggest challenges: food waste. With vast amounts of food discarded daily, Malaysia’s landfills are filling up quickly. MAEKO’s founders took action by combining their expertise in biotechnology, engineering, and marketing to create a solution—composting food waste. Their goal is to help Malaysia, and the world, achieve ZERO FOOD WASTE.

During the ZOAT tournament, MAEKO is helping us compost all food waste. When you’re ready to dispose of food scraps, used paper plates, and cutlery, look for the designated bins at the ZOAT hockey field. The collected waste will be turned into compost, helping us contribute to a sustainable planet. The image below shows which items can go into the food waste bin.

Nestlé Malaysia is dedicated to sustainability and is supporting our recycling efforts and trash separation communication at ZOAT Kuala Lumpur.
