It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the 50th edition of the ZOAT Hockey Tournament, being held from November 15th to 17th here in the great city of Kuala Lumpur. This milestone event celebrates not only the spirit of hockey but also the sportsmanship that has brought us together for half a century.
This year’s edition of Zoat kicks off on Friday, November 15th, with a Golf Day at the picturesque Templer Park Golf Club. We look forward to a day of friendly competition on the greens as we warm up for the exciting hockey matches to follow.
On Saturday and Sunday, the Bukit Kiara Polo Club will be the venue for our hockey tournament. We anticipate competitive matches, great team spirit, and a showcase of the finest hockey skills as teams from across Asia-Pacific compete for the glory of winning the ZOAT trophy this year. And if you need a little help to support this year’s charity cause, Al-Ikhlas Hope Society, you can always count on the support of Olympian gold-medallist Seve van Ass.

We are also honoured to have the support of the Dutch Ambassador in Kuala Lumpur, Mr. Jaap Werner, who has graciously offered to host this year’s welcome reception at his residence on Friday evening. This special event will be a wonderful opportunity for us to come together in a more relaxed setting, and we thank you, Mr. Werner, for your warm hospitality.
Lastly, I would like to already express a big thank you to the ZOAT Organizing Committee. With their efforts, dedication, and passion so far, it promises to be a memorable 50th edition of this tournament.
